CosiG Brand Ambassador Search

CosiG Brand Ambassador Search

It was only a matter of time before the majority of our business referrals were from social media. We are so delighted to know that our reach is growing. We feel fortunate to be open and operating during these uncertain coronavirus times, and really want to thank every follower, every tag, every comment. We cannot thank you all enough for the support.

We had the best time running our first every Miss CosiG ambassador search through instagram. Thanks to all who entered, you were all amazing. As promised, this blog will give you some information on our selection process etc.

A brand ambassador should be someone who aligns with the brand values and offers growth to the brand. Our brand is all about young, healthy, happy, humble girls and teens. Someone who is already a customer of the brand is another key element, this shows that they have an honest like for the brand, which is preferred.

In our situation this was at least 95% of our entries. So where to from there?.. We looked into things like Instagram followers and the potential growth and reach from each account. Instagram feeds - were accounts age appropriate and tasteful. Followers - did the account have distasteful followers. Sometimes less is more in this situation.

I think it is important to talk about followers. Having a public account to sell yourself doesn't mean you shouldn't monitor the followers you receive. Sadly there are a lot of followers out there who you don't want to attract the attention of.

We also value supporting each other. We were really impressed by some of the dancers who reached out to follow other girls and offer support and create new friendships, because that is what it is all about.

At the end of the day, someone will always be looking for something a little special in their ambassador. Sell yourself through your videos and photos. Don't be afraid to show your quirkiness, talents etc. If you are interested in representing brands you should clean up your followers, think twice about all posts and their appropriateness, conduct yourself with kindness, online and offline. Being kind and networking in your industry is important. Who better to make friends with than dancers from all over the world who love the same things as you. Our advice when you go back to competitions - Don't do them to win, do them to make new friends and grow as a performer and person.

Keep being YOU.
